Matoa National Golf & Country Club is one of golf courses that located in the suburbs of Jakarta, in Ciganjur area, South Jakarta. The course which provides fresh air stands on an area of 60 hectares and was initiated by Bob Hasan. Matoa National Golf & Country Club was designed by Ir. Budi Santoso associated with Thompson, Wolveridge & Perret. The course consists of 18 holes par 72 and measures 6,402 meters from championship tees. Matoa National Golf & Country Club was opened for the first time in 1995 and operates from Tuesdays to Sundays, from 06:00 AM until 07:00 PM.
Matoa National Golf & Country Club blends traditional design with tropical beauty with arboretum concept, as a conservation of 200 selected species of rare trees from Indonesia’s tropical forest. Matoa National Golf & Country Club has narrow and undulating fairways plus fast green. Hole 5 par 4 with handicap index 1 is the most difficult features view of Krukut River. Two good shots will provide an opportunity for a par on this hole. The other toughest hole is No.11. Wild grass and bunkers ready to snare the inaccurately driven shot. It requires shot over side green bunker to get the maximum scores.
Various facilities are available in Matoa National Golf & Country Club, such as clubhouse with locker rooms equipped with sauna for relaxation after playing 18 holes and comfortable VIP lounge. Open air restaurant and coffee shop provide local and international menu. Pro shop also provides variety equipments and accessories. Another facilities are conference rooms and business center consist of two ballrooms with capacity of 400 people and meeting room for 20 people. By becoming members in Matoa National Golf & Country Club, golfers can participate in Matoa National Golf Club (MNGC), an organization that supports activities of the members. Matoa National Golf & Country Club gives special rates for members and discounts for facilities usage. Memberships in Matoa National Golf & Country Club consists of Corporate Membership, Individual Membership, Spouse Membership and Family Membership. There is Term Membership that valid for one year.
In Matoa Golf & Country Club, members only charged for Service Fee when playing their rounds. Matoa Golf & Country Club offers price of Green Fee and Service Fee on Tuesday through Friday of IDR 440,000 for guest and IDR 490,000 for public. On Saturday morning, guest charged for IDR 1.295 million in the morning and Saturday afternoon after 12 pm charged for IDR 745,000. On Sundays and National Public Holidays, guest are priced of IDR 1.095 million for morning session and IDR 745,000 after 12 PM. The price includes Green Fee, Service Fee and shared golf cart as well as taxes. Get discount of 50% Green Fee for second round on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.
