What is interesting about the International Indonesia Open 2017 is the support from five state-owned enterprises such as four state banks BNI, BRI, BTN, Mandiri and Telkom Indonesia. PB PGI who became the direct organizer stated that the government support also gave a positive impact on the tournament. These sponsors also show that the government is taking part in the golf development in Indonesia.
