Southlinks Country Club is located in sub-urban area of Dam Sungai Ladi atau Sei Ladi, Batam. The coure was designed by golf course designer from Japan, Hisamitsu Ohnishi, which offers views of the coastline of the island where golfers can see skyscrapers of Singapore in the north and city of Nagoya in the east. Southlinks Country Club consists of 18-hole par 72 with a course length of approximately 6000 meters. The course was opened in 1996 and operates every day, Monday to Sunday from 06:00 AM until 07:00 PM. It takes about 30 minutes from Hang Nadim Airport and about 15 minutes from Sekupang Ferry Terminal to Southlinks Country Club.
Southlinks Country Club provides championship course with strategic placement of bunkers and water obstacles that very challenging. The course not only challenging for expert but aldo friendly for beginners. Four final hole of Southlinks Country Club provide spotlights that allows golfers to play golf until 7 PM. Hole 5 par 4 with index 1 becomes the hardest hole. It used features with rocks on the right but now become dogleg hole. Golfers must carry over 200 meters to pass mound on the right. There are bunkers on both side of fairway and golfers must set the ball onto the green. Golfers must be careful with the bunker on the left, right and behind the green.
Southlinks Country Club is equipped with complete facilities. To sharpen the swing, the course has driving range consist of 24 bays with chipping and putting area. Pro shop provides variety of equipment from leading brands. Golf clubs and shoes rental are available with affordable price. Locker room of men and women provides comfortness. There are pool and fitness center in Southlinks Country Club. Restaurant called Cafe Golfers’ Terrace serves local food and drinks also Western menu. If golfers want Japanese dishes, Naruto Japanese Restaurant is available on the next level and Links restaurant that serves Chinese food. To pamper yourself, there is Palm Spa which offers traditional massage to reflexology. A pool of warm water called traditional Japanese bath is available. Chalet and bungalow could be an option for golfers who want to stay in Southlinks Country Club. There are condos and apartments for rent in longer period of time. Southlinks Country Club also provides meeting room with capacity of 300 people above the lobby and overlooks the golf course. Cart and caddy is a must in this course.
Membership and Golf Package Info in Southlinks Country Club
Southlinks Country Club offers Individual Membership and Corporate Membership which valid until August 1, 2020. There is Term Membership that offers one year period of membership. Member Southlinks Country Club can get special price for playing and using facilities in the course.
Member of Southlinks Country Club charged for IDR 225,000 to play nine holes and IDR 325,000 for 18 holes. This price applies on weekday and weekend. While guest members who plays nine holes on weekday are priced at IDR 580,000 and visitors with IDR 720,000. To play 18 holes, guest members are priced at IDR 850,000 and visitors with IDR 1,100,000. At weekend, guest members are priced at IDR 770,000 to play nine holes and IDR 1,350,000 for 18 holes. Visitors charged for IDR 950,000 to play nine holes and IDR 1,750,000 for 18 holes on weekend. All prices includes Green Golfers can get 15 percent discount in pro shop. Promo valid on weekday, Monday through Friday during the month of April 2017. Another promo is “Year End & New Year Festive Great Deals” for year-end holidays that offers IDR 1.2 million for one round, IDR 2.2 million for two rounds and IDR 3.3 million for three rounds of golf.
