Ria Bintan Golf Club is located in the northern of Bintan island, in the area of Ria Bintan Resort. Ria Bintan Golf Club was designed by Gary Player. The course consists of 27 holes championship, with 18 holes called as Ocean Course while another nine holes called as Forest Course. Ocean Course stretches along 6,470 meters from the black tee and was opened to the public for the first time in 1998. Forest Course that stretches as far as 2,978 opened in 2000. Ria Bintan Golf Club operates daily, Monday to Sunday from 07:00 AM to 06:00 PM.
Ocean Course in Ria Bintan Golf Club offers stunning background views of South China Sea. Some of the best hole includes hole 7 par 5 with green guarded by cascade rocks with South China Sea as background. Hole 8 par 4 is a real cliff hanger. From the landing area, golfers will have a downhill shot to a green while hole 9 par 3 is the signature hole. This hole requires shot over the sea into the green with that features a bunker to the left and to the left of this bunker rocks that cascade down to the sea. The Forest Course features natural forest with variety of lakes and bunkers. Starting March 1, to April 30, 2017, Forest Course temporarily closed for maintenance.

Ria Bintan Golf Club offers Licence to Golf – Golf Day package, includes a round of 18 holes golfing along with ferry tickets, lunch, transfer at terminal Ria Bintan, insurance and mineral water. The price from Monday to Friday, for golfers who travel with ferry charged for IDR 1,550,000 and without ferry for IDR 1,050,000. Another package is Licence to Golf – Stay & Play for two days and one night stay, which includes a round of unlimited golf with sharing cart and caddy, pool table and golf simulator, breakfast, one night’s accommodation in Ria Golf Lodge, tickets for ferry night or regular as well as transfer in terminal Bintan, insurance and mineral water. Twin share with night ferry charged for IDR 1.95 million from Sunday to Thursday while with regular ferry priced for IDR 2.62 million. Single price with night ferry from Sunday to Thursday charged for IDR 2,250,000 and regular ferry amounted to IDR 2.92 million. Another package provided by Ria Bintan Golf Club is Stay & Play Unlimited package, includes one night accommodation in Ria Golf Lodge, breakfast, golf with cart and caddy, unlimited pool table and golf simulator, also insurance and mineral water. First 18 holes can be booked and for next round could be schedulled. For extension nights twin share charged for IDR 1,390,000 on weekdays, Sunday to Thursday, and IDR 1.89 million for weekend, Friday, Saturday and national holidays.
