The Jack Nicklaus Sea View Course
The Bintan Lagoon Golf Club Sea View Course, which opened in 1996, has a length of 6,443 meters. The 18-hole and par 72 golf course has 5 different tee locations that suit for every golfer ability at all levels. This golf course is popular for its stunning scenery with nine holes facing natural forests and nine other holes facing toward the South China Sea. Despite having a beautiful ocean view, this course is also famous for its cooling winds, especially in the 12th hole of par 3. While at the 13th hole of par 4, golfers will face river barriers that split the green as well as large bunkers and rolling mounds on the 18th hole.
The Ian Baker-Finch Woodlands Course
The Bintan Lagoon Golf Club Woodland Course is designed by Ian Baker-Finch and has a length of 6211 meters with 18 holes and par 72. This golf course which can be reached within 50-minutes away from the Tanah Merah ferry terminal, Singapore has a dramatic and challenging layout. The golfers will be presented by undulating landscapes with steep slopes, deep bunkers, ponds which located in strategically positions and varying height trees beside the fairways. The golfer will require extra accuracy and concentration to avoid the bunker traps, pools or trees surrounding it.The Ian Baker-Finch Woodlands Course golf course is designed with the first nine holes in front of the clubhouse while the other nine holes are behind the clubhouse. The hole 8th par 5 and hole 13th has elevated tee which becomes one of the golfer’s favorites because its vista view of the villa and the ocean.
