Meanwhile, Sakura course offers a constantly undulating contour with palm-tree lined. The wide fairways are sometimes flanked by large bunkers made from used railway sleepers as a signature of Pete Dye. Deep rough grass will welcome you beyond the first cut of the fairway. In the middle of the course, the course become narrower meandering creek ensures plenty of water hazards.
PGCC usually combines the Hibiscus and Bougainvillea courses on weekends. On weekdays you can play all four 9-hole courses in sequence. The Hibiscus course has a similar character to Orchid. Hillways and sleeper bunkers also can be found here.
Bougainvillea course is more compact than the other courses. It less undulating with shorter and tighter grass. The regularly paired Hibiscus and Bougainvillea provide plenty of challenges for amateur golfers. While professional golfers will consider the Bougainvillea course to be less challenging than the others.
Orchid and Hibiscus are the strongest combination and more suitable for professionals Meanwhile, Orchid and Sakura is more suitable for amateurs because it much easier than the others. Other regular combinations of the four courses that are often played by the golfer are Hibiscus + Sakura, Orchid + Sakura, Bougainvillea + Orchid and Bougainvillea + Sakura.
