Palm Hills Golf Club
Palm Hills Golf Club located in Sentul Highland and green area of Bogor, West Java. The course is surrounded by hills with Mount Salak as the background. The course which consists of 18 holes and length about 6500 meters was designed by Tom Matteson and developed by the Japanese company, Taisei Corporation. Although Palm Hills Golf Club has unique layout that is full of obstacles and difficulties, the course remains friendly for golfers at any skill level. The course was built in 1992 and operates from Monday to Sunday, from 5:30 AM – 7:00 PM. It only takes about 30 minutes from Jakarta to Palm Hills Golf Club. Golfers can take Jagorawi Highway and exit at the Sentul Circuit.
Palm Hills Golf Club has hilly contour decorates by obstacles make the course become a good test for golfer’s strategy. Large lake separates 9th and 18th holes. While four others, 7th, 11st, 13th and 15th require golfer to be hit the ball across the water. The par 3’s at Palm Hills Golf Club are test for various skill and 5th par 3 can be a favorite with a large lake guarding the right side of the green. Long iron or hybrid can be very helpful for most golfers while closing hole or 18th hole par 4 of Palm Hills Golf Club, is the most challenging, specially for amateurs. Played from the blue tee within 389 meters, wind become the first hurdle so try to ignore the river or out of bound (OB) on the right side, including wide bunker and lake which located on the left side. Solid driver or medium or long iron can help golfer to get near the green for clutch par.
Palm Hills Golf Club has own characteristic with a Spanish-style clubhouse. The clubhouse is equipped with restaurant that provides Asian and Western menus and Japanese cuisine as a recommendation. There is also a bar and banquet, meeting room and VIP room for the purposes of Meeting, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE). A spacious locker room is equipped with Spa and Massage from Java to Sweden-style. Pro shop in Palm Hills Golf Club provides variety equipment and accessories from leading brands. Golfers can practice their short-game near 10th and 1st hole at short-game area. Palm Hills Golf Club also presents golf simulator. For those who do not want to sunbathe, can play 18 holes of world courses simulator or just swing at the driving range.
Membership already closed in Palm Hills Golf Club. The course open registration for membership at the end of 2015 which is valid for life. After January 2016, registration can be addressed by existing members with price set by the club, or even more.
As per February 2017, Palm Hills Golf Club gives special price of IDR 350,000 for GolfLink member. While members guest who plays in the morning charged for IDR 610,000 and IDR 540,000 in the afternoon. Visitors charged for IDR 730,000 in the morning and IDR 640,000 in the afternoon. Non KITAS guest or guest without limited stay permit card charged for IDR 780,000 in the morning and IDR 700,000 to play at noon. On Saturday, member guest charged for IDR 1.575 million in the morning and IDR 925,000 in the afternoon. For visitors charged for IDR 1.975 million in the morning and IDR 1.225 million to play in the afternoon while non KITAS guest charged for IDR 2.05 million to play in the morning and IDR 1.475 million in the afternoon. Rate on Sundays or public holidays, member guest charged for IDR 1,375,000 to play in the morning and IDR 825,000 in the afternoon. Visitor charged for IDR 1.675 million in the morning and IDR 975,000 in the afternoon and non KITAS guest charged for IDR 1,750,000 in the morning and IDR 1,100,000 in the afternoon. Tuesday through Thursday, senior golfers can play with IDR 475,000 while ladies and junior golfers charged for IDR 430,000 to play in Tuesday through Friday. All prices are inclusive of green fee, caddy fee, cart fee, tax and insurance.
Promo available during 2017, Birthday Special program only for IDR 100,000 includes breakfast or lunch or dinner, just pay caddy fee only. Raincheck promo valid until the end of February 2017 where golfers can play without have to pay green fee if the rainfall is high with maximum of 15-hole played as well as payment made before tee off. Another promo is Free Green Fee 2nd Round, for weekday only pay caddy and cart fee without rainchek and on weekends apply for afternoon tee off. With this promo, golfers can get discount for 50% and raincheck available also voucher restaurant worth IDR 200,000. Promo “4 Pay 3 Green Fee”, applies to all golfers in one flight with four people, where foursome green fee will be charged for three people. This program applies to play on weekdays and during the weekend, but did not apply for the tournament. For starters, get a price of IDR 285,000 starting Monday without raincheck.
