Kedaton Golf & Country Club
Kedaton Golf & Country Club, one of beautiful golf course located in Tangerang, West Java. The course has 18 holes and opened in 1993. Designed by American designer, Rick Robbins of Robbins & Associates International Inc., the course within 7000 yards operates from Tuesday to Sunday, from 05:30 AM until 07:00 PM. The course is 45 minutes from Semanggi and 30 minutes from Soekarno Hatta International Airport.
Kedaton Golf & Country Club is unique with water hazards feature in every holes. There are two types of water hazards in the course. First, wide artificial lakes that very challenging for golfers. And second, natural stream that runs around the golf course. Kedaton Golf & Country Club looks flat and comfortable for the golfers to walk, enjoying the beautiful scenery. But the course is not easy to conquer. Hole No.8 par 3 of 166 yards from the champions tee gives the golfers experience of playing in Kedaton. As a signature hole, view from tee box is fabulous. Obstacles is on the right and left side of the hole. To conquer it, take medium iron to long iron to cut the wind and land the ball safely on the green area. While hole No.18 par 4, becomes hardest hole at Kedaton Golf & Country Club which decorate with water hazard along the right side of the hole. Keep calm and do not try too hard to conquer this hole. Remain accurate placing the ball in order to score par.
Clubhouse in Kedaton appeared with distinctively traditional Sundanese. The traditional design also seen in the facilities area restaurant overlooking the practice green, starter and tee box of No. 1 and No.10. The restaurant provides Asian food, Japanese, Korean and European also fresh beverages. There is banquet area that can accommodate 50 to 300 people. Golfers who want to sharpen their putting, chipping and pitching playing, could use putting green and short game area behind the clubhouse. Pro-shop sells variety of equipments and accessories with golf clubs rental. Other facilities in Kedaton Golf & Country Club are male and female locker room, VIP room and golf carts.
There are about 1,700 members in Kedaton Golf & Country Club and last for life time. Rate for public, morning weekend package charged IDR 1,130,000 and afternoon or twilight package for IDR 775,000. For weekday package from Tuesdat to Friday, charged for IDR 395,000.
Kedaton Golf & Country Club offers special package for green fee at weekend. Guest member charged for IDR 980,000 to play in the morning and IDR 700,000 at noon. This price excluding golf cart. If the golfers want to use golf cart, pay IDR 280,000 for 18 holes and IDR 175,000 for nine holes. On weekday, green fee for members cost IDR 170,000. Prestige card holders charged for IDR 315,000 and female, senior and junior golfers charged for IDR 340,000. Corporate or group competition charged for IDR 340,000. Weekday green fee includes golf cart and caddy fee.
