Jagorawi Golf & Country Club is located in Depok City, West Java, which can be reached within 60 minutes from downtown Jakarta via Jagorawi toll road. There are three course with total of 45 holes was opened in 1981, consists of the Old Course, the New Course and the Z-Nine. The Old Course and New Course, each having a length of 6023 and 6322 meters from blue tees was designed by Thomson, Wolveridge & Perret while Z-Nine which measures about 2965 meters was designed by Max Weller. Jagorawi Golf & Country Club is open daily, Monday to Sunday, from 5:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
Jagorawi Golf & Country Club is very challenging with its diverse course. The Old Course requires an accurate drive to have a good chance of scoring. The opening hole becomes the most difficult. First hole with par 5 is guarded by the river on the right. A fade or slice tee shot will be the first choice to avoid water. The second shot playing an uphill hole to the narrow fairway and third shot requires a short iron to reach undulate green from front to back. Another stand out hole in the back nine is hole 15th, with par 5 dogleg from right to left and played between the rice fields.
The New Course at Jagorawi Golf & Country Club is longer and more open, slightly easier than the Old Course. Long hitters can hit away without fear as fairways are generally very wide. The front nine possess an easier opening as compared to the back nine. Holes 11-13 are the most difficult as they play to narrow landing areas and well-guarded greens. The Z-Nine Course is a 9-hole layout and probably is the most challenging 9-hole course. All of the holes are laid out around the Cikeas River. Big trees flanks most holes. Low handicappers will enjoy the challenge, while most golfers are better off sticking with either the Old Course or New Course at Jagorawi Golf & Country Club.
Jagorawi Golf & Country Club has clubhouse with traditional Padang-style house roof. The restaurant offers variety of Indonesian dishes while the pro shop provides a wide range of golfing needs. Jagorawi Golf & Country Club also has 12 resort rooms with training facilities such as driving range which is on the entrance to the course. While putting and chipping area is right behind the clubhouse. Locker room at Jagorawi Golf & Country Club is equipped with private lockers, shower, jacuzzi, sauna and massage. There are also three swimming pools that can only be used by JGCC members and guests, not open to the public. Other facilities available at Jagorawi Golf & Country Club are CPGA Golf Academy or The CIMB Preferred Golf Academy, formerly known as CBIOG. The Academy provides scholarships for talented junior golfers to become professional golfers.
Membership and Price at Jagorawi Golf & Country Club
Membership at Jagorawi Golf & Country Club consists of Share Members, Transferable Members for individuals and corporations, Ordinary Members who are valid for life and unfortunately, no longer available. There are still Family Members for couples and children under 21 years, and Nominated Member which appointed by the company. Golfers who want to become members must meet the applicable of terms and conditions and get club approval.
Jagorawi Golf & Country Club offers Green Fee price of IDR 550,000 on weekdays, for golfers accompanied by members or bring letters of recommendation from members. On Saturday, Sunday or public holidays the price is available for IDR 1,495,000 to play before 10 AM with members and make reservations in advance. Playing on Sunday at 10 AM will cost IDR 1,365,000 accompanied by member with reservation first. Caddy Fee is charged for IDR 100,000 to play 18 holes and IDR 60,000 for 9 holes. Golf cart usage is charged for IDR 230,000 per cart for 18 holes on weekdays and IDR 130,000 for 9 holes, while price per seat on weekday is charged for IDR 160,000. On weekend, golf cart is charged IDR 250,000 per cart for 18 holes and IDR 150,000 for 9 holes.
Jagorawi Golf & Country Club gives special rate of IDR 499,000 for non member who want to play 18 holes. The price includes Green Fee and Caddie Fee and valid until end of June 2017. Reservation in advance is needed.
