Bandung is one of city in Java which has a number of golf course with international standard. This city also has one of the oldest golf course in Indonesia that is PGB – Dago Endah Golf. Like any other golf course in Bandung, the Dago Endah golf course offers beautiful mountain scenery along with fresh cool air, which makes golfers feel at ease while golfing in this golf course.
Dago Endah golf course located in the valley of North Bandung at Lapangan Golf Dago Atas Street No. 78, Bandung. Golfer can reach this place easily because it situated among residential complex and only 20 minutes away from Bandung and 30 minutes away from Husein Sastranegara Airport. Beside being a sport tourism location, Dago Endah golf course also serves as a water collecting area which has an important rules for Bandung city.
This oldest golf course in Indonesia was built in 1917 and has 18 holes which is consists of 8 holes par 4, 5 holes par 5 and 5 holes par 3. PGB – Dago Endah considered as a short golf course with an area of 5,583 meters from the tee box. Due to its location, which is at an altitude of 956 – 1,065 meters above sea level, no wonder if the golfer can see a glimpse of Bandung city view along with the coolness of mountain breeze.
This golf course are famous for its steep terraces and narrow fairways. Oong SW and Chohei Miyazawa designed this golf course naturally challenging, makes the golfer have to be smart to manage their stamina because of its hilly contour and exhausting climbs. Although it’s exhausting, playing golf in natural nuances and pine trees forest makes all the effort are worth it.
Dago Endah Golf Course Facilities and Green Fee Rates
PGB – Dago Endah Golf has a clubhouse located on the top of the site. In this clubhouse, golfer can enjoy snack, relaxing or lunch at restaurant. Dago Endah Golf Club also provide various facilities such as shower, locker rooms, shoe for hire, golf car for hire and golf club for hire. There are also a proshop which provides various golf equipment brands ranging from Pin High, Oakley, Titleist, Taylor made, etc.
PGB – Dago Endah golf course in Bandung open daily from 10.00 AM – 06.30 PM on Mondays, and open from 05.30 AM – 06.30 PM on Tuesday to Sunday. Dago Endah has varied golfing rates so golfer can choose which one suit their ability. Golfer can play in the morning by paying a golf rates of IDR 512,900 on Tuesday to Friday, IDR 951,723 on Saturday and IDR 819,530 on Sunday and public holidays.
The golf rates during the day (after 12.00 PM) for Tuesday to Friday is set for IDR 435,185, IDR 812,148 on Saturday and IDR 706,394 on Sunday and public holiday. While for the member of the club, the golf rates is much cheaper IDR 248,400 on any day.
PGB – Dago Endah offers three types of membership, regular membership, rental membership and family membership. For the golfer who wants to register as a regular member, then have to pay a membership fee of IDR 12,496,000. For a rental member, you have to pay a membership fee of IDR 11,347,600 and IDR 3,329,920 as for the family membership registration fee.
