Bukit Darmo Golf is an international standard golf course in Surabaya which worth a visit. Located in West Surabaya’s business area, Bukit Darmo Golf Street Blok G-2, Surabaya, Bukit Darmo is a valuable potential for commercial and recreational place. It is strategically located near the intersection of Mayjen Sungkono Street, neighboring with Ciputra Golf and Graha Family and it’s only 10 minutes away from the Surabaya city centre. Besides offering its serene green scenery, the golf course of Bukit Darmo also offers various interesting facilities that can be enjoyed within the busy Surabaya city. Built within an 126 hectare area, the golf course of Bukit Darmo is nestled amidst residential and office area. Designed in 1995 by Jack Nicklaus II, the 18 hole golf course with a length of 6,305 metres (blue tee) is considered as one of the best-designed golf courses in Asia. This golf course has a complete challenge, ranging from slippery green, undulating landscape, quite long distance tee, artificial lakes and 115 of varied size bunkers.Each hole is designed to give a different experience and challenge for both beginner and professional golfer. For example, in the par 5 area which has flattish contour and free of severe hazards, the golfer will face a great challenge from the strong head wind. If the golfer doesn’t calculating their swing carefully, usually they will have miscue shots or the ball will fall into the bunker.

- Driving Range
Bukit Darmo provides Aquatic Driving Range facility with lake views. This driving range facility is equipped with 80 bays, a large grassed tee and four artificial lakes. Uniquely, when the ball falls into the lake, those balls will float not drowning.
- Golf School
If you want to learn to play golf, you can join a professional golf school in this place. This golf school provides four levels of the golf lesson programme with rates ranging from IDR. 180,000 per person up to IDR. 500,000 per person. There is also an additional lesson for 1 hour at a rate of IDR. 100,000 per person.
- Food and Beverages
The golfer can also enjoy food and beverages at the Golfer Terrace. In this place, visitors can enjoy a variety of local, Chinese and Western food and drinks at the T-Bar. Golfer Terrace is open every 1.00pm – 11pm on Mondays to Fridays and 11am to 11pm on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

As a semi-private golf course, Bukit Darmo Golf offers short-term membership for public by paying IDR. 11,500,000 for one year weekend membership, and IDR. 7,500,000 for weekday membership. There is also a one-year membership package for adults with a rate of IDR. 19.000.000, and one year membership for juniors or children under the age of 17 with a rate of IDR. 5.500.000. As for the two year corporate membership has a fee of IDR. 39.900.000. To play golf at this place, Bukit Darmo set of 18 holes green fee rates for IDR. 485.000 – IDR. 725.000 on weekdays, and IDR. 635.000 – IDR. 935,000 on weekends. As for the 9 hole games set a green fee rate of IDR. 360,000 – IDR. 550,000 on weekdays and IDR. 500.000 – IDR. 650,000 on weekends. This rate is valid for both regular visitors and guests of Bukit Darmo.
