New Kuta Golf is the first link-style layout in Indonesia. Located in Bukit Peninsula, the course was designed by Ronald Fream, David Dale and Kevin Ramsey from Amerika. The course which stretches over an area of 85 hectares with a length of 6832 meters with Samudera Hindia as background, consists of 18 holes with par 72. New Kuta Golf was built in 2007 and operates from Monday to Sunday start from 06:00 AM until 07:00 PM. The course is only 20 minutes driving from Ngurah Rai International Airport.

The first nine hole of New Kuta Golf lies in low lands with river and grass also bushes as features. While its final nine hole is on seaside with spectacular views. Similar with Amen Corner at Augusta National, New Kuta Golf has three difficult holes which are 14,15 and 16 that located right on the sea. Accurate drives is required to avoid golfers from losing the balls as they falls into the sea. Hole 14th par 4 has decrease contour with blue ocean as background. Putting surface direct to the side of the cliff, which is guarded by bunkers. Hole 15th par 3 is signature hole with left side is cliff. That’s why the hole is called Cliff Hanger. Hole 16th par-4 requires long drive right to the right side of the fairway. Approach shot into the green is very narrow and lay up is a good choice to make par.

New Kuta Golf is equipped with various facilities including magnificent clubhouse with restaurant and bar, ideal for golfers after the round. The restaurant is on the ground floor with hole 9 and 18 as well as a putting green as the view. This restaurant provides Indonesian cuisine and international menu. Do not forget to pamper yourself in the spa that provides various types of massage, especially the Balinese massage which is not only relaxing but also more enjoyable. Pro shop sells equipments and accessories as well as clothes from famous brands. Other facilities in New Kuta Golf is driving range that stretches as far as 250 meters with Seashore Paspalum grass and mats. The course also provides golf academy with certified instructors to train and make your skill improve. New Kuta Golf can be used as wedding venue with special package. New Kuta Golf also provides “Play and Stay” package for golfers who want to play and stay overnight in Lexington Klapa Resort, The Wollas Villa Seminyak, Le Grande Bali Uluwatu and New Kuta Hotel.

Membership and Price Rate in New Kuta Golf

New Kuta Golf offers Annual Membership for golfers who want to get benefits including free green fees and no limits of using putting practice area, also discounts for transaction in restaurant and pro shop.

New Kuta Golf offers rate for domestic and Temporary Residency Permit Card (KIMS) holders for IDR 1.5 million to play 18 holes while foreigners without KIM charged for IDR 2,100,000. Nine holes playing or morning golf which started from 5:30 AM to 11 PM charged for IDR 650,000 for domestic and KITAS holder as well as IDR 1,100,000 for non KITAS. Sunset Golf started from 03:00 PM to 6:30 PM charged for IDR 750,000 for domestic and KITAS while non KITAS charged for IDR 1,100,000. All price includes Gree Fee, Cart Fee, Caddy Service and Player Insurance and valid until March 2018.

For golfers who want to improve their game can join academy. Lesson fee for member charged of IDR 450,000 for an hour training and IDR 4,000,000 for 10 hours. Nine holes playing with instructor, member charged for IDR 650,000 and IDR 850,000 for 18 holes. Non KITAS golfers charged for IDR 850,000 for one hour lesson and IDR 8,000,000 for ten hours. Nine hole playing with instructor charged for IDR 1,200,000 and IDR 2,200,000 for 18 holes. Discount of 10 percent for KITAS holder.

Junior Golf Program at New Kuta Golf aged 5-12 years, every Sunday from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Junior golfers charged for IDR 150,000 for 100 balls driving range and one hour lesson with instructor. To continue lesson in 9 hole, charged for IDR 550,000 and IDR 750,000 for 18 holes. Ladies Golf Program every Thursday starting from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM with IDR 250,000 for the ball and lesson from instructor. Lesson for nine holes in a course charged for IDR 650,000 and 18 holes with IDR 850,000. Ladies Golf Day promo every Tuesday afternoon with IDR 550,000 includes Green Fee, Cart Fee, insurance and taxes 10 percent.
