Handara Golf Resort Bali is located in central highlands of Bali, about 1,400 meters above the sea level. Handara Golf & Resort Bali which is in area of Singaraja, north Bali, initiated by Ibnu Sutowo in 1974 and designed by Peter Thompson, five times champion of British Open and his colleagues, Michael Wolveridge and Ronald Fream. After two years development, Handara Golf & Resort Bali which consists of 18 hole par 72 was opened to public in 1976. The course that stretches along 6,893 meters from blue tee operates from Monday to Sunday start from 06:00 AM until 10:00 PM and can be reached within two hours from Ngurah Rai International Airport.
Handara Golf & Resort Bali is surrounded by green mountains, crater and tropical rain forests which create dramatic background when golfers playing their rounds. Another unique character of the corse is cool temperature that makes the course very enjoyable to played. Hole 3th par 4 within 435 yards or about 397 meters in Handara Golf & Resort Bali is the toughest hole with handicap index 1. This Stone Bridge hole has decreased contour with 90 degrees dogleg to the right. Creek also divides fairway into two. This hole required accurate tee shot as much as possible to shorten the distance to the green. Try to keep the ball in the fairway if you choose the left side to avoid out of bounds. Selection of the right club is required when making approach to the green. In green area, golfers still have to be careful because the green slopes slightly from front to back and is guarded by a bunker front right.
As the name implies, Handara Golf Resort Bali, the course also equipped with resort for golfers who want to spend more time or enjoy it with family. There are many type of rooms with modern furniture and direct view to the golf course. The resort also has restaurant and bar with variety menu of Western and Asian besides Indonesian cuisine. There is Caldera Valley Tennis Court for golfers or family who want to play tennis, which opened late December of 2016. Other facility in Handara Golf & Resort Bali is “golf lesson” from local and professional instructors to improve the game. Pro shop in Handara Golf & Resort Bali is well-stocked from popular brands. Golfers can practice before their rounds in the driving range. Driving range equipped with two area putting green, one chipping area and bunkers. Handara Golf & Resort Bali also provides rental golf clubs, including rental for left-handed golfers. Locker rooms in Handara Golf & Resort Bali provided as much as 34 lockers for ladies and 118 lockers for men. For men, locker room equipped with sauna and traditional Japanese Bath to relieve fatigue after doing one round. While massage can be done with prior reservations.

An additional 18 holes on the same day, charged for IDR 1,300,000 and IDR 1,000,000 for nine holes. Junior golfers charged for IDR 950,000. Inhouse Guest or golfers who stay at Handara Golf & Resort Bali charged for IDR 1.2 million to play 18 holes and IDR 950,000 for nine holes. An additional 18 holes and nine holes on the same day each charged for IDR 1,000,000 and IDR 800,000. All price includes Green Fee, Golf Cart and Caddy Fee. For golfers who want to take lesson in driving range with instructor charged for IDR 300,000 per hour and IDR 700,000 for 18 holes playing lesson. Rental clubs charged for IDR 500,000 per day.
